Great sets, price points…
– Concorde – $199.99
– Shuttle Carrier – $229.99
– DC-3 – $229.99

The size of the Concorde makes it look like $200 as well as its 2,083 piece count. Its not as wide but the length and size of the delta wings makes up for it as well as all the functions. Gear, droop snoot, flaperons, and tail rudder and the interior.

The shuttle carrier, 2,417 pieces. Honestly $230 is a good deal. Based off the 10 cents a piece “rule”. Its about the same size as the DC3, smaller scale, but it makes up for it with the shuttle. The functions are ok. The gear on the carrier work. The shuttle is the “function star” id say. It has the ability for transport mode, and then space shuttle orbit mode. And of course the doors open for space walks and satellite releases.

Now the DC3. 1,903 pieces. $229.99. Not worth based off that 10 cent rule but I like planes and have the other two so might as well as complete the three. While it has working radial engines it does not have flaps, elevators or rudders. Would that have been nice to have considering its a bigger scale, yes. It really makes up for the bigger pieces, the cockpit, the printed tiles, the massive printed tiles, the minifigs. The interior is pretty good too but. The dihedral wings are good, but the hinges are exposed kind of a bummer, and the technic holes show thru to tan pieces. Its a great set but kind of disappointed with the price point.

Overall all three are great sets, id rank them as
1. Concorde
2. DC-3
3. Shuttle Carrier

What are y’alls thoughts?
