  NOTES FROM October: October was a productive month for the LUG. Our membership drive resulted in over 30 registered LUG members! Thank you to all who paid their annual dues. The LUG is grateful for your ongoing support. We were able to establish a community checking account for the LUG at Virginia Credit Union! RVALUG also had a fun outing at Top Golf for our First Tue Dinner, and an jam packed meeting that featured rounds of bingo for prizes and some excellent creature builds for the months build challenge. | NOVEMBER AT A GLANCE Here’s what’s happening this month… Tuesday 11-4: First Tuesday Dinner at Kreggers in Ashland at 6 pm. Fri, Sat, Sun 11-7 to 11-9: LUG Display at the Short Pump LEGO Store Grand Opening. Saturday 11-15 1 to 4 pm: Monthly LUG Meeting at the Guzman Center in Willow Lawn. Fri, Sat and Sun 11-28 to 11-30: Visit the Science Museum for their annual Model Railroad Show, where Ian H will have set up his massive LEGO City and Train Layout. This is Ian’s biggest display yet! 12 by 21 feet with lighted buildings and computer automated trains. Have an item of interest you’d like to see in next months newsletter? | Heads up! The Guzman Center is unavailable for our December meeting and holiday party. Instead, we will meet in the neighboring YELLOW Building on the second floor, in the executive conference room.  |
 RVALUG Holiday Party: RVALUG will host its holiday party at its regular meeting time in DECEMBER, in the YELLOW Building next to the Guzman center on the second floor.If you are interested in participating in our annual gift exchange, bring a wrapped LEGO or LEGO Themed present in the $25 range. Feel free to bring a sweet treat to share! |
